This policy explains how When did I…? handles information through the website and the iPhone app.
When did I…? is designed to be privacy-conscious by default. The app is built as a local-first product, and the website is a simple informational site.
This website does not include contact forms, user accounts, or marketing trackers in its base version. If you email us directly, we receive the information you include in that email.
The app may store routine information on your device, such as routine titles, routine history, reminder preferences, and app appearance preferences.
If you choose to enable notifications, the app will request permission from iOS and store the reminder settings needed to schedule those notifications.
The app is intended to store routine data locally on your device for the core product experience. The website itself is a static marketing site and does not require you to create an account to browse it.
If cloud features are introduced later, this policy will be updated before those features are used in production.
Premium subscriptions are handled through Apple's in-app purchase systems. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Notifications are optional. You can disable them in the app or in iPhone Settings at any time.
Data stored locally in the app generally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or replace it through your own use of the product.
Emails you send to support may be retained for customer service and troubleshooting purposes.
When did I…? is not directed to children under 13.
